The highs and lows of 2020 continue. I can hardly bring myself to say the words out loud...but yes it’s true - The Penrod Art Fair 2020 has been cancelled. The very first year I got my courage up to apply, purchased a display, finally created enough inventory, entered the juried event and was accepted...

(insert COVID)

then came the news news...

CANCELLED! 

It’s crazy how all the really bad words start with the letter “C” isn’t it;

COVID. CANCELLED. CRACK. CANDY. CALORIES. CAULIFLOWER. CALCULUS...

(we’ll stop there)

The excitement had really just begun settling in for Penrod. I was getting things in order and making plans to see all of your lovely faces in September! (Even if masks were mandated). I have to say though, I was cautiously planning...as I knew the risk of Covid taking this dream

away was looking more and more like a reality. 

But here’s the great news...The folks over at The Penrod Society have been wonderful to work with thus far. And it appears that those of us who have been accepted to this year’s event will automatically be invited to participate next year! So I now have even more time to create additional inventory! AND the greatest news is everyone will remain safe! Which is what we all really want!!!

Some other news....this week I was able to get my piece that was selected for The 96th Hoosier Salon Exhibit to the framers.

Selecting a frame for this piece was quite the task. With an army of help from my friends at Renditions,
